WEBSITE: Ferrets On the Go (FOG) OBJECTIVE: Update, finish website designed to publize local shelter Provide information to new/current/potential owners Provide a forum for national shelters to publize thier efforts and raise funds PROBLEM: Site was never completely finished and many of the site pages have been lost Site needs to move from AOL (where it split over several accounts) to local ISP Links from the site are outdated and some have moved Navigation style is not comprehensive once you get further into site with out going all the way back to the index page Animated logo has a bad screen in it Animated logo has desired style but ferret in it is not drawing point of the eye Other graphics are fuzzy, outdated, missing or do not show up in Netscape Pages with side navigation bars, the bars are not always as wide as the graphics All the headers of the pages have the shelter name, logo and mission on it, and although it is attractive, it takes up a lot of screen that is repeated with every page instead of letting the viewer immediately grasp the information on the page PROS: The basic site is still one of my favorite layout Although the color scheme is inherently feminine, this is acceptable as: 1: All the shelter owners on the site are females 2: It portrays well to the idea of ferrets being sweet cuddly and needing help LAYOUT: All pages are placed within a centered table to ensure placement of elements Table width=725 border=0 cellpadding=4 cellspacing=0 valign=top Background is crumpled paper graphic manipulated in graphics program to a light pink pattern with a bgcolor="#??????" for browsers without graphics Font colors are purple and two shades of teal Font face="?????" size="#" Links link="#??????" vlink="#??????" alink="#??????" Decoration=none Navigation style=???????
